Description
Callington SYN 30 is a mineral-oil free, oil rejecting, synthetic metalworking coolant. It is designed for various grinding for light to medium duty machining applications on cast iron and ferrous alloys.
It is for use in soft and hard water and exhibits low foam with excellent stability under a wide range of conditions, providing outstanding machine cleanliness for longer life.
Application
Callington SYN 30 is designed for use in most grinding operations including surface, cylindrical and centre less grinding. It is also used in honing, as well as general machining applications, such as boring, turning, milling and light duty drilling operations. It is suitable for use on cast iron, low carbon and free cutting steels, alloy steels and stainless steel.
Callington SYN 30 is extremely stable over a wide range of water conditions (0-400ppm hardness), provides excellent corrosion protection and is very clean in use, reducing product usage and maintenance requirements. It is equally suitable for use in large centralised coolant systems and for small individual coolant sumps.
