Description
CalGuard Slat Saver is a water based, non-aerosol, non-flammable agent designed to reduce the buildup of slag and dross on slats used in laser cutting beds, and to reduce spatter that occurs on the underside of material in the cutting process. Slat Saver can be applied to steel and copper slats commonly used in cutting beds.
Direction for use
Cutting bed slats: Using a portable tank sprayer, liberally spray CalGuard Slat Saver to the surface of each slat. Hold the spray nozzle approximately 30cm from the surface, ensuring all areas of the slat are coated. Using a roller or brush, apply CalGuard Slat Saver to both vertical surfaces of the slat, ensuring all areas are coated.
Material being cut: Apply CalGuard Slat Saver in the same manner as above to provide additional protection to the underside of the material. To remove CalGuard Slat Saver from the protected material after the cutting process simply clean the surface with a suitable detergent or solvent cleaner.
