Description

Galley-Flo is uniquely formulated with advanced surfactants and micro-bubble technology to address galley drain challenges. It effectively breaks down clogs, disperses challenging soils (such as food and coffee scraps) and is recommended to be poured into lavatory and galley sinks to maintain the drain lines (Aircraft Gray Water System) clean and free of malodour. Galley-Flo is a ready to use solution and provides a pleasant citrus scent.

Directions for Use

Addressing Minor Blockages:
1. Pour 0.5L of Galley-Flo down the blocked drain.
2. Allow 4 hours of dwell time for optimal effectiveness.
3. Drain by pouring a few litres of water to ensure drain clearance.

Tackling Severe Blockages:
1. Pour sufficient Galley-Flo until sink level to soak the drain line.
2. Allow the product to soak the line for at least 6-8 hours.
3. Drain by pouring a few litres of water to ensure drain clearance.
4. Repeat the procedure as necessary. If the clogs persist, mechanical removal may be considered.
Note: Adjustments to soak time may be made based on the severity of build-up.

Routine Preventative Maintenance for Drain Lines:
1. Once a week, introduce 0.5L of Galley-Flo into each galley drain.
2. Allow 2-3 hours of dwell time for the product to work on organic deposits.
3. Rinse thoroughly by pouring a few litres of water.

Maintenance for Gray Water Interface Valve (GWIV):
Before applying Galley-Flo into the GWIVs, ensure the reservoir is empty by following a purge procedure (per the Manufacture's guidance) before shutting down power to the GWIV. Note: For lavatory GWIVs, there is an automatic GWIV purge switch within the galley, activate the switch to purge the reservoir.

For Preventative Maintenance:
1. Purge the GWIV's reservoir per instruction above.
2. Disconnect electrcial power to the GWIV.
3. Pour about 0.4L of Galley-Flo down the drain on each sink.
4. Allow it to soak for 3-4 hours.
5. Reconnect electrical power to the GWIV.
6. Add 1-2 litres of water into the sink to rinse, GWIV should actuate at least twice in this procedure.
7. Perform this maintenance procedure twice weekly.

For Clog Removal:
1. Purge the GWIV's reservoir per instruction above.
2. Disconnect electrical power to the GWIV.
3. Pour Galley-Flo into the sink until there is standing liquid (or >0.5L).
4. Allow it to soak for 5 to 6 hours depending on severity of bloackages.
5. Manually activate the GWIV by squeezing the pinch valve to purge used chemical from the reservoir.
6. Reconnect electrical power to the GWIV.
7. Add 2 litres of water into the sink to rinse, GWIV should activate at least twice in this procedure
