Vector-borne diseases like Yellow Fever, Zika, Malaria, Chikungunya, and Leishmaniosis kill over 1 million people annually with just one bite. With mosquito bites occurring day and night, and 40% penetrating clothing, Screen2P® Wear offers essential long-lasting protection for travellers. This non-flammable, water-based insecticide for clothes and fabrics provides proven efficacy lasting up to 5 washes. Screen2P® Wear turns your clothes into a barrier against mosquito bites (Aedes, Culex, Anopheles) and is effective against ticks, bed bugs, mites, and flies, while being environmentally safe.
Application
Can be applied to all types of fabric: clothing, denim or combat uniforms, and curtains.
Directions for Use
Spray at a distance of 20cm using the bottle fitted with 200ml TRIGGER pump.
1. The 200ml bottle enables the treatment of 10m² of fabric (equivalent to 4 outfits).
2. To spray vertically place the garment on a hanger:
a. Shake well and then spray evenly 20cm from the garment (distance between the nozzle / surface).
b. Apply 1 to 2 sprays to the same area, to get the dose required, refer to table below.
3. Repeat the treatment on the back.
Shirt | Sleeve | One leg up to the belt | Sock
Treatment on the front | 12 sprays | 9 sprays | 16 sprays | 1 spray |
Treatment on the back | Repeat the treatment on the back of the garment
Total | 60 sprays | 64 sprays | 2 sprays |
Additional Application Tips
- For garments that are laid flat, tilt the bottle slightly and spray the garments as per tables above.
- Impregnation is checked visually by the change in colour due to the fabric becoming damp.
- The drying time is one hour.
- Renew the application every 5 washes and after dry cleaning.
Best practice for even application, is achieved with juxtaposed sprays (placed side by side), meaning the spraying rounds must be in close physical proximity, nearly touching each other.
