Description
AC80SL is a water-based heavy-duty alkaline cleaner formulated for the tank & pipe cleaning industry to remove a wide range of contaminants, including vegetable, animal, mineral oils and grease residue in marine and land-based cargo tanks. AC80SL can be applied by either hot soak or hot high-pressure cleaning and is safe for use on ferrous metals, stainless steel, and epoxy tank coatings.
Directions for use
Dilution percentages can vary with the residues and contaminants to be cleaned. When used in conjunction with high-pressure equipment and warm to hot water, dilutions can be in the 1:50 range. Apply the solution with high pressure equipment, wait a few minutes and rinse with copious quantities of high-pressure water. The use of warm to hot water will improve the performance of the product. CAUTION: Do not use the product undiluted on aluminium, zinc, tin, galvanized surfaces, and zinc silicate coatings.
